How to Backup Your Minecraft World

When you create a single-player Minecraft World, the game will create a document. You can access these using your Minecraft launcher by clicking on the folder icon close to the Latest Installs option.
You can also open it manually by entering “%appdata%” within the Run Window if you don’t. You can open this run Window using Windows and R keys. From the various folders, you’ll find your .minecraft file. Select it if not yet in that folder.
Within your .minecraft folder, locate there the Saves Folder. The folder contains game files for every single player in your Minecraft Worlds. Please select the one that you prefer and save it elsewhere, such as a USB or on a desktop.
Alternately, you can back up to Minecraft World by selecting it within the game and then clicking edit. After that, click Create Backup. This will create a Backup file within .minecraft/backups.
Select the Edit button and open the Backups Folder if you’d like to restore the backup. Download this file in the zip to replace the backups in the Saves folder.
