The only method to acquire Golden Weapons and golden Guns to use in Overwatch is to buy the items with the Competitive Points. Competitive Points are among the Currencies in Overwatch that could be used to purchase only Golden Weapons in the game.
Players will cease earning these points if they have an unredeemed 6000 competitive Points. However, they will receive their reward at the end of the season. Based on the rank you’re in, you’ll be rewarded with various quantities in CP (Competitive points). The amount for each rank is:
- Competitive Points Earned Per Role in each Rank
- Bronze – 25
- Silver – 50
- Gold – 100
- Platinum – 200
- Diamond – 300
- Master – 500
- Grandmaster – 650
If you play Competitive in Open Queue, then the amount of CP you will earn differs.
