Microsoft, the tech giant, is currently testing a Virtual Private Network (VPN), allowing users to remain private online using a secure, encrypted connection.
Edge will use Redmond-based Cloudflare VPN services. The company is currently testing the feature under “Edge Secure Network.”
Microsoft stated that the VPN service would come at no cost and that users would receive 1GB of data per month.
Once enabled, users can keep their online privacy private by encrypting internet traffic and masking their location with a random virtual address.

However, the only problem is that you can only use 1GB of data while browsing the service. This is not much.
Microsoft will require that you sign in with your Microsoft account to access the service. It will not collect access tokens or support data but keep them for the “required service window.”

Cloudflare will collect diagnostic and support information as you browse, but it will delete the data every 25 hours.
You will need to sign-up for Microsoft’s Insider channels to try it.
After signing up and downloading the latest preview version of Edge, you can activate the VPN by going to Settings and selecting “Secure Network.”
