Version History

You may also label your current version to make it easy to revert any of the made changes. Go on to “File > Version History” > “Name the current version. Enter the name you want to use, then select save.

The version history feature is the simplest way to track changes. You can restore documents’ versions by choosing and pressing the “Restore This Version” Restore this Version button. However, you can’t accept or reject the individual changes in every version. If this is the feature you want, you’ll need to select another option, such as modes.

Suggestion Mode
Google Docs supports three different modes: Editing, Suggesting, and viewing. Editing mode is by default. To switch to another model, click view > mode or click the pen icon at the upper right corner of the Tools menu. To make specific changes, use the suggestion tool.

If you make changes using the suggestion mode, you’ll be able to see an annotation on the right of the document. You’ll have the option of accepting or declining the suggestion. You can also compose an answer to every modification.
Any changes made in this way are recorded individually in the document’s version’s history. This means that you have the option of reviewing and then restoring the changes you rejected; however, you’ll need to fix that particular version of the document. That means that you’d lose any subsequent modifications.

Modify Google Docs Offline
